Just a quick note to let you know that I will be reading at the Jura Unbound event at Edinburgh’s Festival next Sunday, 16 August.

The information says I’ll be reading from my novel Odio but in fact I’ll be reading a short story, “A Tree”. Drop by if you happen to be in the Festival on Sunday and want to hear stories from around the world.

My reading will be dedicated to the memory of Rubén Espinosa, Nadia Vera, Yesenia Quiroz, Alejandra Negrete and Mile Virginia Martín, tortured and murdered on July the 31st in all likelihood by order of Javier Duarte, governor of Veracruz, and to all those murdered and disappeared in Mexico.

  1. Bravo, Adriana, y mucho éxito! Espero que tu mudanza haya sido fluida, y que ya estés completamente instalada e inspirada por tu nuevo espacio. Un abrazo, y nos vemos pronto. Eliud
